Der englischsprachige Lyrik-Foto-Band »Language of Shadows - Poetry & Photography« der zweisprachigen südindischen Lyrikerin, Übersetzerin und Fotografin Reshma Ramesh, geboren 1977 in der Küstenstadt Udupi am Arabischen Meer, gibt einen weiten Einblick in die südindische Lebensart. Reshma Ramesh lebt in Bengaluru (bis 2014: Bangalore), der Hauptstadt des südindischen Bundesstaates Karnataka, und schreibt auf Englisch und Kannada. Im vergangenen Jahr nahm sie an den vielbeachteten Online-Jubiläumslesungen des »30. Internationalen Poesiefestivals in Medellín«, Kolumbien, teil.At the beginning of 2021, the volume "Language of Shadows - Poetry & Photography" by the bilingual Indian poet, translator and photographer Reshma Ramesh, born in 1977 in the coastal town of Udupi on the Arabian Sea, was published by the German literary publisher Edition Delta. Reshma Ramesh lives in Bengaluru (until 2014: Bangalore), the capital of the southern Indian state of Karnataka, and she is writing in English and Kannada. Last year, Reshma Ramesh participated in the much-acclaimed online anniversary readings of the "30th International Poetry Festival in Medellín", Colombia.
