She has published in the areas or language teaching and learning and of teachers professional development. Marilyn is the author, with Hayo Reinders, of The International Student Handbook, Study Skills for Speakers of English as a Second Language and Facilitating Workshops: A Resource Book for Lecturers and Trainers. In her retirement she enjoys running workshops for teachers in various countries.
